  Kaitlin Rees

  Kaitlin Rees is based in Hanoi and New York City. With Nhã Thuyên she founded AJAR, a small bilingual journal and press and the intimate-international A-festival. Her translations of Nhã Thuyên’s poetry include Moon Fevers (Tilted Axis, 2019) as well as the full-length collection words breathe, creatures of elsewhere (Vagabond Press, 2016). She is currently translating Nhã Thuyên’s poeticized prose collection that embraces small subjectivities and relationalities, and works at the Asian American Writers’ Workshop to edit the Transpacific Literary Project.

  Kalau Almony

  Kalau Almony is a literary translator working between Japanese and English. His translations include the work of Tahi Saihate, Nao-cola Yamazaki, and Fuminori Nakamura.

  Kamilla M. Pak

  Kamilla M. Pak is a translator and an assistant professor at the University of Suwon in the Department of Foreign Languages. She graduated from Saint Petersburg State University is a linguistics and intercultural communication major and is now a PhD candidate in applied linguistics and culture studies at Korea University.

  Kang Seung-hee

  Kang Seung-hee is a freelance translator (Korean/German). Her translations include works by Hwang Sok-yong, Kim Ji-ha, Song JaeChan, and Lee Gyeong-Hye.

  Kari Schenk

  Kari Schenk was the co-winner of the 2006 Korea Times Modern Literature Translation Awards Commendation Prize in Fiction. She has regularly contributed translations for this magazine since being nominated to the LTI Korea Translation Atelier in 2011. Her reviews have appeared in Wasafiri, and her translations have been featured in Asia Publishers’ Modern Korean Literature series.
