  Jack Saebyok Jung

  Jack Saebyok Jung is 2024 NEA Translation Fellow and is currently working on translating Kim Hyesoon’s hybrid collection, Thus Spoke n’t. He studied at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where he was a Truman Capote Fellow. His poetry and translations have been published in Bennington Review, Poetry magazine, The Paris Review, Chicago Review and elsewhere. He is an assistant professor of English at Davidson College.

  Jae Kim

  Jae Kim is a writer and translator whose work appears in Conjunctions, NOON, Poetry, and Granta. His translations have received support from the National Endowment for the Arts and Literature Translation Institute of Korea. His book Cold Candies: Selected Poems of Lee Young-ju (Black Ocean, 2021) is the winner of 2022 Lucien Stryk Prize.

  Jae Won Chung was born in Seoul, grew up in Philladelphia, received his graduate training in New York, and currently resides in Boulder, Colorado where he teaches Korean literature, film, and popular culture. His translations have appeared in Azalea, Washington Square Review, and Asia Literary Review. His fiction has appeared in Apogee Journal.

  Jaewon E. Chung

  Jaewon E. Chung is working on several translation projects under the guidance and support of the International Communicaion Foundation and the Korea Literature Translation Institute. For his translation of Hwang Jung-eun’s “The Door,” Chung received the 38th Korea Times Modern Literature Translation Commendation Award.
