Charles La Shure
Charles La Shure has lived in South Korea since 1995. He earned his doctorate in classical Korean literature from Seoul National University in 2011 and taught Korean–English translation at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies from 2008 to 2013. He currently teaches Korean literature, folklore, and culture at Seoul National University. His literary translations include Black Flower, a historical novel by Kim Youngha, and the colonial-period novel Scenes from the Enlightenment.
